Cast a line and sit back at anytime of day with morning or afternoon drift trips and night anchor fishing trips. These trips are guided and veterans in the fishing industry will help you make sure you make the best of your experience outdoors on the ocean.

The JetBoat is a thrilling way to coast through the area's waters, so prepare to hang on tight...not for the faint of heart or for those afraid of skimming quickly through the ocean, but definitely worth it, so give it a try with friends.

Biscayne National Park offers outdoor adventures such as exploring green trails in the spot's nature walks. If you want to take things a step further and go out on the water, Biscayne National Park offers free boating classes every three to four months.

Take an Everglades tour and see some Florida alligators and bird sanctuaries. You might just be lucky enough to get a photo opportunity with a baby alligator at the end of the tour!

Not just a pretty view, these gardens host several festivals and events during the year like the Mango festival, Bird Festival and Chocolate Festival.

Picnic tables and grills are always available here, so pack a picnic basket and make it a family luncheon. Invite friends and make the adventure a group activity.

As a sort of icon to Miami, the gardens contain an abundance of architectural structures and details, elaborate fountains and antique sculptures that make this whole area picture perfect.

Hop on an airboat tour or watch a wildlife show and get some great pictures holding alligators of all sizes. Bring the sunscreen and sunglasses for this outdoor adventure.

It's OK to monkey around at Zoo Miami- walk among giants with larger than life animatronic "Dinosaurs Live!," featuring larger-than-life animatronic dinos, play all day at Zoofari Summer Camp for kids and many other things to see and do on the zoo's rotating schedule of events
