Happy Hours in Miami

All across the land, people celebrate the arrival of 5 pm to hit the bars for the best drink deals of the week. No matter where in South Florida you are, there’s a place calling your name with a seat ready. All hail Happy Hour!

The Traymore

For an old school and retro feel for happy hour head over to the new spot at COMO in Miami Beach, which just launched its happy hour specials. At the Traymore’s special Gin Bar, lovers of libations will find more than 40 of the finest gins imported from around the world. Happy hour takes place every single day from 5 to 7 pm with signature cocktails selling for $10, select wines are $8, and house liquors for $8. Pair it with a Cuban sandwich, chicken croquettes or bruschetta for $7 and $8. Cocktails include classics such as the Singapore Sling, caipirinhas, a Collins or specialties like the Popcorn Collins Park and Traymore 1939. 2445 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.695.3600

The Butcher Shop Beer Garden & Grill

Nestled in the artsy Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, the Butcher Shop is ready for those with a bad case of the Mondays with a long happy hour running from 4 to 9 pm (the rest of the work week, happy hour ends at 7 pm). So grab your co-workers and enjoy select draft beers, house wines and well drinks for half the price. Plus, share some delicious plates of salmon carpaccio, fried bacon-wrapped pickles, brisket sliders, pulled-pork sliders, and other bites sure to target grumbly tummies. 165 NW 23rd St., Miami, 305.846.9120

Tap 42

This bar just south of Downtown Fort Lauderdale whips up a mean happy hour Mondays through Fridays from 4 to 7 pm. Sit inside or out under the sun on their patio and sip your choice of 50 craft beers on tap, 42 rotating premium bourbons and enjoy sips from a rotating craft beer menu. The deal? You get $3 off of everything. Not just well, not just house cocktails, but anything from behind the bar. You want the best specialty bourbon Tap 42 can offer? Have at it, you deserve it after the day you’ve had. 1411 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, 954.463.4900

KAPOW! Noodle Bar

There’s plenty of places to go to get a drink after work, but no one does is quite as well as KAPOW! An unlikely place for such accolades, indulge in half-off draft beers, house wines, and well liquors (even better, PBR and Sapporo are only $2). The great prices extend to the food menu, with side dishes going for about half off, depending on the dish, making them a mere $3 or $4. Happy hour runs from 4 to 7 pm on weekdays. Even better? Parking in the Mizner Park garage is free. 431 Plaza Real in Boca Raton, 561.347.7322
