How long have you been in the hospitality industry?
Five years. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, and I absolutely love the industry.
What is your favorite spot at the Surfcomber?
Our new restaurant concept at the back of the property, High Tide, is an amazing outdoor spot and great for visitors and locals.
How do you enjoy South Florida on your days off?
I’ll head over to the beach for some paddle boarding and snorkeling, or hang out by the pool.
Favorite time of the year in Miami?
Winter – it’s sunny outside but a bit cooler. Miami also hosts many noteworthy events around this time – Art Basel and New Year’s Eve are always great times…the city is full of activities.

When guests are looking for nightlife, I recommend checking out the local spots – Purdy Lounge, Bodega and Rec Room are some of my favorites.
What do you recommend to your guests for the rainy days in sunny South Florida?
Wynwood Walls– Although the art is an outdoor attraction, sunshine is not necessary to enjoy the vibrant installation or check out the galleries, shops and restaurants throughout this trend-setting neighborhood. Marlins Game– No matter what the weather, the retractable roof shields fans from unexpected rainstorms, while the expansive concessions and classic ballpark tunes keep everyone entertained. PAMM (Perez Art Museum Miami)– A modern and contemporary art museum dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art of the 20th and 21st century. Lincoln Road Mall – The mall is within walking distance and offers a variety of shopping, dining, and social activities.
Favorite restaurant recommendations on the beach?
The Social Club– with a sexy décor that encourages socializing and Cuban-inspired regional fare designed to be shared, The Social Club has everything guests need to wind down the day with a handcrafted cocktail or kick off a night on the town in style.
