For the second year in a row, chef and owner Deme Lomas of NIU Kitchen was nominated for Best Chef: South (2016, 2017) by the prestigious James Beard Foundation. This cozy restaurant and wine bar in downtown Miami, brings Catalan flavors alive with a menu of Jamón ibérico (Iberian ham) to calamari in potato cream and crudo tartare with cucumber, scallions and lime zest, among other succulent dishes for brunch, lunch and dinner.
