Miami is becoming one of the most dog-friendly cities in the country. Here are a few of its best places to drink, dine, stay and play with your pooch.

Puppy Accommodations

The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami recently unveiled a picturesque dog park situated just outside the hotel and launched new pet amenities, including branded food and water bowls, a welcome placemat, doggie bags and a gourmet menu. The hotel’s concierge can also book walks, sitters, grooming or vet visits. Eden Roc Miami Beach takes puppy pampering to an entirely new level with its VID (Very Important Dog) program; among the impressive dog amenities is a PAWtastic massage treatment. 

Treats For You Both

While your pet probably shouldn’t indulge, feel free to take him or her with you to La Placita for Puerto Rican fare. The locals favorite has a huge patio for furry friends to enjoy outdoor seating with their owners. Over at Wynwood’s famous Asian food hall 1-800-LUCKY, dog-friendly dining hits a new level with a new event series called Tito’s and Tails, in partnership with local dog retreat FreeDOGm and Tito’s Vodka. On the first Tuesday of every month (7-9 pm), enjoy deals on Tito’s drinks, doggy treats, freebies and games and live music by Cuban folklore band Cortadito. Out in Coconut Grove, Leading Hotels of the World’s brand new Mr. C, Coconut Grove allows your pup to stay for $45 a day and pampers them with dog beds, dog bowls on mats and a customized dog menu. Down the road at Glass & Vine, enjoy brunch while the pups nosh on bites from the Wynwood Dog Food Company.
