Captain Jim's Seafood Market Restaurant
This cozy spot part fish market, part restaurant is located in an unpretentious strip mall in North Miami, is a favorite among the locals. Stop in to pick up stone crabs, shrimp, fish or oysters to cook at home or eat-in and enjoy the hearty shrimp and grits, "Brooklyn-style" chicken parmigiana or New England clams paired with delicious side items including creamed spinach or fried okra.
In 2015, this quaint eatery made a cameon in Anthony Bourdain's CNN's "Parts Unknown," where he feasted on a plate of fresh stone crab claws and washed it down with Wynwood Brewing Company beer.
